Water Rescue - River Road- Patricks Pond

Station 71 was alerted at 14:25 for a Water Rescue near the Patricks Pond Bridge on River Road west of Blades. Command 71 responding with Chief Earl Chaffinch and found a canoe had lodges on the spillway near the bridge. Utility 71-8 responding with Boat 71 responded along with Ambulance A-71 and Rescue 71. An immediate search of the area there were no victims. Command was able to locate the owner who advised that they thought the canoe had been stolen and had been missing for several days. Command put the situation under control and returned all units.
