Water Rescue Training - Blades Marina

Drill night took us to the Blades Marina where several different scenario's took place, to practice with the many different types of equipment that we have available to use. Boat 71 was deployed to use the SCS or Side Scan Sonar, Members of the Dive team along with Divers From Station 87 practiced their diving skill by performing a search with in the Marina, several tools were used on land to assist a person in need such as the Rescue Rocket and throw bags. The new type Personal Floatation Vest were demonstrated to show how they inflated by a person falling overboard and how quickly they inflate. This was a very good instruction drill for the many new members that joined our company
