House Fire - West 2nd Street, Blades

Station 71 was alerted at 21:13 for a reported working House Fire at 5 West 2nd Street, Blades. Ambulance A-71 returning from a previous call arrived on scene to find smoke coming from the second floor and advised 71 Command of the situation. 71 Command with Assistant Chief Chad Passwaters arrived on scene and advised incoming units of their assignments. Engine Tanker 71-2 arrived on scene along with Engine 71-9, Rescue 71, Utility 71-8. Station's 87 and 81 were alerted as a mutual assist response also arrived on scene with their Ladder Trucks and Engine Tankers. Medic 102 also arrived on scene for re-hab assignment. FM 11 also was requested to respond.
