Engine 71-3 - Pierce Manufacturing Plant

This past week the truck committee made the trip to to Wisconsin for the final inspection of Engine 71-3. After a close inspection from top to bottom and front to back and with a few minor corrections, the new truck will be on it's way to Blades.It is a 2011 Pierce Velocity pumper. 71-3 has a 1250 gallon tank, 2000 gpm 2 stage pump,class A and class B foam, seating for 6,a 10kw Onan generator, a light tower. The committee did an outstanding job from start to finish. The Fire Company should be receiving the truck shortly.
