House Fire Blades - West 6th Street

Station 71 was alerted for a house fire on West 6th Street at 22:34. 71 Command with Chief Earl Chaffinch responded to the scene, upon arrival talked with a person living in the house and stated that buring smell was coming out of a room. Cheif investigated the area and found fire in the room and told the person to leave the house. Cheif Chaffinch upgraded the alarm to a structure fire. This alerted Station 87, Station 81 and Medic 102 to respond. The fire was quickly brought under control. Units responding were Engine Tanker 71-2, Engine 71-3, Rescue 71,Ladder Tower 87, Engine Tanker 87,Engine Tanker 81, Engine 81-3, Medic 102, FM 11 and many Fire Police from 71,87 and 81.
