Friday August 1 - 2014 at 2054hrs Station 71 was dispatched for an vehicle fire located at E. 6th Street & Arch Street. Command 71 Chief R. Fensick arrived on scene to find an Jeep SUV with fire in the engine compartment. Engine 71-3 Arrived on scene and Captain S. Scott and his crew deployed front bumper line off engine 71-3 and extinguished the fire. Crews operating on scene for roughly 35 minutes. Situation was placed under control by Chief Fensick and all 71 units returned to station.
