Vehicle Fire - North Market Street, Blades

71-18 Chad Passwaters with 71 Command was traveling on Market Street observed smoke in the area of Market Street. Upon arrival it was determined that a pickup truck was on fire in the engine compartment, Assistant Chief Passwaters notified EOC to alert our Station at 11:46 a.m. Engine 71-9 responded with Deputy Chief Bryan Callaway. Upon arrival of fire unit the fire was under control, homeowner used several buckets of water to put the fire out. All units cleared 11:58 a.m.
