Fire Prevention Day - The Child Craft Company

Members of the Blades Fire Company travelled to The Child Craft Company for Fire Prevention. The Child Craft Company has students from Pre-Kindergarten through the 5th Grade. Demonstrations were given on the equipment on the Rescue Truck, B-71, along with classroom activities talking about smoke detectors and firemen's gear that we wear. The students in the fourth and fifth grade were given a ride on the rescue truck to the Fire House where they watched a video, toured the Fire Station and were treated to refreshments and then a ride back to school.
